Villa Coffee Bar
About the Café
Villa Coffee Bar is in an area named Haebangchon. This place was originally an old house but was renovated into a café. Villa Coffee Bar, as the name describes, is a coffee shop and also a bar. You can enjoy coffee, tea, and different types of ade just like in other coffee shops. However, you can also enjoy a variety of alcoholic drinks, such as highballs, beer, and wine. As for dessert, there are some cookies and cake. Their signature dessert menu is the basque cheesecake, so make sure you order it when you visit!
The interior of the café is very nice despite the fact that it’s a very old building, but it’s small so it could be hard to find a seat, especially on the weekends. Because of the small space, the interior design is quite simple with some vinyl records. However, the full-sized windows and the rooftop area make the space look bigger. The best part is that you can see the N Tower from the rooftop! This café is great during the day, but I recommend visiting later in the afternoon. It’s perfect for watching the sunset and the N Tower light up at night!
I ordered the Passion Fruit Ade and the Earl Grey Milk Tea. I’m a bit of a sweet tooth, but some places sometimes add too much sugar. Fortunately, the drinks here were not too sweet. Both were great and I would recommend them. I was too full to get any dessert. However, most people were having the basque cheesecake, their best menu, so I suggest you give it a shot!
